What do you stand for? Values are guiding principles that shape our behaviour and help us determine if we are on the right path. They shape the way we form our judgement to issues and dictate the way we react to the environment around us.

This week, we ask contributors of the SMT20s series: what is a value that is important to you? We feel moral satisfaction when we act consistently with our values and we feel a sense of imbalance, trying to reconcile actions that are contradictory to our values, when we do not. Born in an era marked with waves of social movements and endless technological disruptions, how do Millennials whisk through their ever-changing environment?
